POP-OUT Trial - Occiput transverse

Occiput transverse position:

The occiput transverse position refers to a position of the baby that is looking towards the side of the mother's body (ie neither towards the front nor towards the back). This position is normal in labour but may be associated with a slightly higher chance of an operative delivery compared with the anterior position.
